Amanda Reid

Associate Researcher

Amanda joined the Merad lab in 2022 as an Associate Researcher. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut (UConn), minoring in Materials Science and Engineering.

In the lab, she is responsible for scanning the slides of immunohistochemically stained tissue, genotyping mice, and digesting human tissue samples of patients enrolled in the clinical trials.


Fun facts about myself:

  1. I was a Girl Scout for 12 years.

  2. I like working with ceramics.

  3. If I can, I’ll read a book on my Kindle before reading a physical copy.
